Testimonials:

Ranjan Mukherjee recently did a program entitled “India:  Taj and Tiger” and it was very well received by the audience.  Ranjan’s presentation was well illustrated and his speaking style is very engaging and down to earth.  Mixing facts with humor, Ranjan kept the whole audience rapt with attention and always interested in what he was speaking about.  His beautiful photos in the power point presentation were well chosen and captured the essence of what he was describing.  This is the second program that Ranjan has presented for the library and we look forward to having him return with another program sometime in the near future.

The Rotary Club of Willow Grove found Ranjan’s travelogue to Nepal absolutely enchanting. It was an exciting journey in pictures and words, almost like being there.

The Hearth at Drexel has had the pleasure of welcoming Ranjan Mukherjee to our community. Over the past year he has taken residents on numerous interactive armchair travel experiences including “Nepal”, “India” and “China”. Ranjan’s lectures are both informative and engaging. Residents are captivated by his stories, depicted through his passion for adventure. Our residents absolutely love asking questions and sharing stories about different countries. Ranjan and his lecture series have become a staple in our community. We are looking forward to more Travel Talks in the future.

Traveltalks are eagerly presented by a happily-retired professional and well-traveled bon vivant, Dr. Ranjan Mukherjee. He has put together eye-opening, well-described profiles of foreign lands that are somewhat exotic to a librarian like me and probably our library audiences as well. Ranjan’s own photographs are what help him tell his lively and personal stories, at the same time becoming necessary for the viewer to travel along with him. Quite simply, everyone in a darkened room (me, included) is traveling with Ranjan –to places like the Taj Mahal, Nepal, and China. As a presenter, Ranjan is very committed to sharing his own experiences as a world-traveler… and that is what makes him an excellent travel guide for our audiences!

Recently, Ranjan Mukherjee spoke to a group of us at the Hearth. The topic was a description of his travels through China. There was a large audience, since Dr. Mukherjee had previously visited us; and we knew we were in for a very interesting and delightful experience. We were not disappointed, and we asked Dr. Mukherjee to be sure to come back soon.
